Privacy Policy
This is a plain-English explanation of what happens to your information if you get in touch, book a conversation, or visit this site. I've kept it short and honest rather than dense with legal boilerplate.
Who I am
This site belongs to Robert Stephenson, trading as Robert Stephenson Coaching Ltd. I'm the person responsible for your data when you interact with this website, and the person to contact if you have any questions about it.
What information I collect
I only collect what's needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to arrange a conversation:
- If you email me — I receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write.
- If you book a call through Calendly — Calendly collects your name, email address, and any details you enter when booking. This is handled directly by Calendly under their own privacy policy, not stored separately by me beyond what's needed to prepare for and hold the conversation.
- Ordinary technical data — Like most websites, basic technical information (such as your general location and browser type) may be logged by the infrastructure that serves this site, Cloudflare. I don't use this for tracking or marketing.
What I don't do
This site doesn't currently run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party marketing pixels. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to reflect it, and any cookie consent required by law will be requested at that point.
Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies. If you use the "Book a 20-minute chat" button, Calendly's booking widget may set cookies necessary for it to function, this is governed by Calendly's own privacy and cookie policy, not mine.
Why I use your information
Simply to respond to your enquiry, arrange and hold a conversation, and, if we go on to work together, to deliver that work properly. I don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long I keep it
I keep correspondence and booking information only for as long as it's genuinely useful, for an ongoing enquiry or client relationship, and for any period required by law (for example, for accounting purposes). After that, it's deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, to have it corrected if it's wrong, or to have it deleted. If you'd like to exercise any of these, just email [email protected] and I'll sort it out directly.
